Administrative Mobility
The program supports visits to/from a HESP Network Institution by administrative staff employed by higher education institutions in Central, Eastern, and South Eastern Europe; the former Soviet Union; and Mongolia.

International Scholars Fellowship Program
The International Scholars Fellowship Program invites highly qualified scholars in the social sciences and humanities from around the world to assist partner departments with their reform agenda.

Alumni Fund
The Alumni Fund provides alumni of AFP, the Civic Education Project, and the Support for Community Outreach and University Teaching Program with an opportunity to offer their academic expertise and professional skills to AFP target departments and contribute to their ongoing reform.

CARTI International Scholars
CARTI fellows from the region work in collaboration with international scholars, who are advanced academics prominent in the fields of concern to the fellows' projects.

Central Asia and Caucasus Research and Training Initiative Junior Fellowships
CARTI Junior Fellowships support young individuals in early stages of their doctoral studies and focus on development of original scholarly work in the subjects and areas of importance for the advancement of the open society agenda.

Central Asia and Caucasus Research and Training Initiative Senior Fellowships
Offered to young scholars who have recently received their doctoral degrees, CARTI Senior Fellowships support innovative and critical research agendas and development of international research and teaching partnerships.

Departmental Development Projects
The Academic Fellowship Program funds Departmental Development Projects to further assist and strengthen the teaching and research capabilities of AFP partners, thereby contributing to the ongoing reform of higher education.

Faculty Mobility
The program supports visits to/from a HESP Network Institution by faculty members teaching at higher education institutions in Central, Eastern, and South Eastern Europe; the former Soviet Union; and Mongolia.

Mobility Fund
The Academic Fellowship Program offers a Mobility Fund to encourage faculty visits between program partner departments.

Professional Development Projects
These funds facilitate the professional development of Academic Fellowship Program Returning Scholars by covering such costs as conference fees, travel expenses to and from academic events, or other expenses related to activities contributing to the development of the applicant as a scholar.

Regional Seminar for Excellence in Teaching (ReSET)
The Regional Seminar for Excellence in Teaching aims to promote and nurture teaching excellence in the social sciences and humanities on the undergraduate level.

Returning Scholars Fellowship Program
The Returning Scholars Fellowship Program offers financial, institutional, and professional development support for scholars who, after earning a postgraduate degree abroad, seek university positions and academic careers in their home countries.

Student Initiatives in Georgia Guidelines
The International Higher Education Support Program supports the involvement of students in the democratization of the educational process and in building issue-based transnational student alliances in Georgia.

Student Initiatives in Southeast Europe Guidelines
The International Higher Education Support Program supports projects from the following Southeast European university student communities: Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Kosovo, Macedonia, Moldova, Montenegro and Serbia.

Student Initiatives in Ukraine Guidelines
The International Higher Education Support Program supports the involvement of students in the democratization of the educational process and in building issue-based transnational student alliances in Ukraine.

Student Mobility
The program supports visits to/from a HESP Network Institution by students enrolled at higher education institutions in Central, Eastern, and South Eastern Europe; the former Soviet Union; and Mongolia.
