Research Support Scheme

The Research Support Scheme (RSS) supported innovative, high-quality research in social sciences and humanities. Research grants were awarded to both individuals and groups, with priority given to groups composed of scholars from two or more countries researching a common issue or a particular theme from a multinational perspective.

RSS was closed in 2002, but research works of some of RSS grantees are available in the Open Society Archives in Budapest at http://rss.archives.ceu.hu.
