Stop TB Partnership and UNAIDS Co-Produce Advocacy Film on AIDS and TB

Date:
September 1, 2004

The Joint UN Programme on HIV and AIDS (UNAIDS) and the Stop TB Partnership have co-sponsored a film that describes the increasingly deadly link between HIV and tuberculosis (TB). "Fight AIDS. Fight TB. Fight Now", produced by John-Michael Maas and Keith Rondinelli for Darby Communications, urges policymakers, activists, and public health personnel to take aggressive measures to reduce the spread of TB, which is already the leading killer of people with HIV in many parts of the world.

OSI's Public Health Program supports the Stop TB Partnership and works closely with UNAIDS on TB and HIV issues throughout the world.
