International Gay and Lesbian Human Rights Commission
2005 SHARP provided support to the International Gay and Lesbian Human Rights Commission to train 15 or more activists in utilizing the African Human Rights System to push for positive policy and legislative change to reduce stigmatization, violence, and harassment. The African Commission for Sexuality-Based Claims will be organized around preparations for the May/June 2006 session of the African Commission of Human and People’s Rights in Banjul, Gambia.
