SHARP aims to expand funding and policy support for evidence-based programs to secure comprehensive sexual health and rights for marginalized populations from the U.S. government with regard to HIV/AIDS.

Anticipated Outcomes

  • Increased funding for sexual health and rights needs of socially marginalized populations related to HIV/AIDS
  • Inclusion of evidence based interventions in donor strategies, national plans and international agreements
  • International and domestic advocates working on sexual health and rights issues develop stronger linkages, expanded networks, and organizational capacity to obtain needed policy and legislative changes

Overall Impact

International and domestic sexual health and rights advocacy partners develop closer and more effective collaborations resulting in enhanced U.S. government support for evidenced-based programming and policy outcomes.
