Women’s Network for Unity
2009 A grant to provide general operating support for the Women’s Network for Unity to carry out education and organizing activities to advance the health and health-related rights of sex workers in Cambodia. The project’s activities include: providing skills building tools and sessions for sex worker groups on public speaking, policy analysis, campaign planning, and communications; strengthening and supporting the operations of drop-in centers; educating sex worker groups on laws relating to HIV and sex work; developing strategies to reduce violence against sex workers, including building a legal referral system for victims of abuse, violence, and rape; and developing sustainable rights-based HIV prevention programs.
