2007

A grant to provide scholarship funding for 15 participants from the Asia region to attend the third ILGA-Asia Regional Conference entitled “Equality in Diversity Now!” held in Chiang Mai, Thailand, in January 2008. Bringing together LGBT activists from all parts of Asia, the Chiang Mai Conference built on the work that the two previous regional conferences had started by further advancing the struggle for visibility, social acceptance, and de-criminalization of LGBT persons in Asian societies.
