A grant to advance the health and health-related rights of sex workers in Central and Eastern Europe and Central Asia by supporting the Sex Workers' Rights Advocacy Network (SWAN) to strengthen and expand its membership.

Activities include fostering the development of sex worker-led groups in its member countries; training members in human rights, media and advocacy; developing a system to collect and document evidence of human rights violations against sex workers across the region; broadening collaboration between network members and allied communities; increasing the visibility of SWAN on regional, national, and international levels; and organizing network-wide advocacy campaigns to address violence against sex workers. This grant was funded in partnership with the Public Health Program's Health Media Initiative and OSI's Information Program.
