International Gay and Lesbian Human Rights Commission
2006

A grant to support the International Gay and Lesbian Human Rights Commission (IGLHRC) in using its report, Off the Map: How AIDS Programs are Failing Same-Sex Practicing People in Africa, in a year-long campaign to challenge homophobic and sexist HIV/AIDS funding and program policies that overtly limit service delivery to men who have sex with men and women who have sex with women (MSM/WSW) in Africa. IGLHRC used the report to launch a sexual health advocacy training program in South Africa to train and support LGBT organizations to advocate for increased access to HIV-related prevention, treatment, and care services at the local, national, and regional levels.
