2008 A grant to support the inclusion of Roma lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, intersex and queer/questioning (LGBTIQ) persons in Serbia's mainstream LGBTIQ movement and within Roma communities. SHARP funding supports Gayten to document the needs and challenges of Roma LGBTIQ in Serbia; hold workshops with Roma LGBTIQ to develop strategies for their empowerment; conduct sensitization seminars for professionals in health, law enforcement, government, and social work; and communicate the findings of the data collection to relevant national and international actors.
