2007 A grant to produce Taking the Pledge, a 13-minute video about the effects of the U.S. Government’s Anti-Prostitution Pledge on sex workers in the developing world. The present grant supported a 3-city speaking tour featuring the video and panelists Meena Seshu (SANGRAM, India) and Hazera Bagum (Durjoy Nari Shongho, Bangladesh) to further advocate for sex workers’ health and rights, with attention to educating US residents about health policies and informing donor agendas.
