A grant to facilitate the investigation and exposure of human rights abuses against sex workers in Cambodia, with a particular focus on abuses resulting form poorly-designed efforts to counter human trafficking. Funding from SHARP supports the collection and documentation of testimonies from sex workers, others picked up during raids, law enforcement officials, staff at detention centers, human rights activists, and outreach workers on the abuses against sex workers during police raids. This project will culminate in a major report detailing the findings and providing policy and programming recommendations. The report will be used as a tool to garner support from Cambodian officials, policymakers, and other national and international stakeholders. This grant was funded in partnership with the Public Health Program's Law and Health Initiative.
