Location: Bucharest
Event Date: November 10, 2005 - November 13, 2005

Two SHARP Advisory Group members, Nora Stojanovik and Maxim Anmeghichean, attended the “Sustainable Services for Vulnerable Groups” seminar, organized by the Romanian Association against AIDS, ARAS. The seminar was designed to promote the exchange of best practices and to facilitate collaboration among different actors who deal with vulnerable groups like drug users, sex workers, Roma, men who have sex with men (MSM), inmates, and people living with HIV/AIDS. A variety of stakeholders attended, including representatives of communities and NGOs, service providers, pharmacies, local and national authorities, and other decision-makers. Nora Stojanovik served on the “Policies and Practices” panel, discussing sex work in Central and Eastern Europe.
