UNGASS in SHARP Focus
An initiative of OSI's Sexual Health and Rights Project (SHARP), "UNGASS in SHARP Focus" provides information about key sexual health and rights issues and activities arising in the process of the UN General Assembly Special Session on HIV/AIDS review. It is directed both toward those attending the session and those who are not.
Six issues will be released. The first two provide background information about the status of negotiations and planned activities during UNGASS. Three more issues were released during the UNGASS (May 31–June 2, 2006), at the end of each day. A wrap-up report was issued following the end of the session.
