Resources for Sex Workers' Health and Rights

Date:
December 2008

The Open Society Institute supported the creation of a multilingual collection of online materials to advance the health and rights of sex workers. The collection, Resources for Sex Workers' Health and Rights, was developed as a joint effort between the International Committee on the Rights of Sex Workers in Europe (ICRSE) and the European Network for HIV/STI Prevention and Health Promotion among Migrant Workers (TAMPEP).

The resources in this collection were compiled from actions and tools developed by sex workers and advocacy groups throughout Europe and utilized in sex workers' rights advocacy campaigns. The materials gathered by the ICRSE focus on sex worker empowerment and combating violence, and are accompanied by English and French guidelines for use.

The resources gathered by TAMPEP focus on health and rights, with guidelines in English and Russian.

The collection is available at www.sexworkeurope.org/resources4sw/index.html.
