Acknowledgments
This document was compiled by the Sexual Health and Rights Project and the Law and Health Initiative as part of the June 2006 Open Society Institute meeting held in Johannesburg, South Africa, entitled “Fostering Enabling Legal and Policy Environments for Sex Workers’ Health and Human Rights.” The meeting brought together activists, researchers, policy analysts, and health and law professionals in an effort to share knowledge and develop advocacy strategies. OSI would like to thank everyone who contributed their expertise and materials to this project, in particular Alice Miller, Jennifer Friedman, and Penelope Saunders.
