OSI Scholarship Recipients Announced for "Social Inclusion and Health" Conference

OSI’s Roma Health Project has announced the recipients of a scholarship to attend the conference "Social Inclusion and Health: Crossing the Borders" in Sofia, Bulgaria, on September 27-29, 2007. Out of 26 applications of very high quality, the following applicants were awarded the scholarship:

  • Grygorichenko Petro Dmytrovych, NGO “Forumo Romen Ukrainatar,” Ukraine
  • Zoran Bikovski, NGO HCAR - KHAM, Macedonia
  • Mila Carovska, NGO H.E.R.A., Macedonia
  • Letafet Isaki, IEZR "Romano Suno," Macedonia

Organized by the Correlation Network, the conference will cover a wide range of topics, targeting the issue of limited access to health and social services for marginalized groups.

The Roma Health Project will support a panel discussion on increasing access to health care for Roma. Presenters include representatives of local organizations working to promote Roma health through a range of activities.
