A grant to support the development of Roma leadership in health by a mentorship program designed and implemented to assist the professional development of approximately 60 Roma medical and nursing students in Romania. Mentors selected from among Romanian resident physicians will assist Roma medical and nursing students in their academic and professional development, but also in addressing discrimination, when confronted with it or when witnessing Roma being discriminated against in the health care setting.
