Increasing the Engagement of Roma Communities and Advocates on Public Health Issues Affecting Roma Health

Funds are to strengthen the capacity of the CDRIM information center and to assist Roma communities in advocating for better access to health care in Shuto Orizari, Macedonia. Activities include training on discrimination and other obstacles faced by Roma in the health care settings. In addition, the information center will provide free legal aid and referral to relevant institutions in order to ease the process of obtaining health insurance. The project is co-funded with the Open Society Institute Macedonia.
