A grant to provide Roma women living in the Stolipinovo neighborhood of Plovdiv, Bulgaria, with legal and specialized consultations related to access to quality health care, and conduct community-based awareness-raising campaigns on the importance of immunization and prevention of tuberculosis, hepatitis and sexually transmitted diseases among young Roma. In addition, the Association of Roma Women and Children will establish a coalition of Roma and non-Roma women’s NGOs working on local, regional and national levels to address the obstacles that Roma women face in obtaining health services.
