Addressing Direct and Indirect Discrimination in Roma Access to Health Care

Funds are to support an investigative journalism competition in order to increase public awareness on obstacles faced by Roma communities in accessing health care in Serbia. Media materials will be developed into a tool for monitoring state activities related to Roma access to health services. In addition, training will be organized for journalists with proven interest in Roma health issues. The training will address specific problems related to Roma health and the influence of different social factors on Roma access to health care.
