Addressing Direct and Indirect Discrimination in Roma Access to Health Care

Grantee List

Grantees
Amalipe Center for Interethnic Dialogue and Tolerance
2008

A grant to support two trainings organized for Roma grassroots organizations in Bulgaria on communication with the media. The goal of the training is to provide an opportunity for participants to develop their communication skills and confidence, to improve the sense of identity and strategic direction of their organizations and to learn how to build better relationships with the media (both Roma and non-Roma). At the same time, two local representatives of Roma organizations will be prepared in media relations so they can provide further support to the participating and other Roma organizations in working with the media. The grant is co-funded with the Public Health Program’s Health Media Initiative.
