Treatment Advocacy & Literacy Campaign
2006

The Treatment Advocacy and Literacy Campaign (TALC) was founded in June 2004 and registered as a non-governmental organization in 2005. Since its inception, TALC has been working hard to advance treatment advocacy and literacy in Zambia. TALC’s mission is to ensure people living with HIV and AIDS are empowered to advocate on their own behalf for equal access to affordable, sustainable and comprehensive treatment, care and support, and respect for their rights.

TALC will implement community-led monitoring and advocacy activities in two rural areas, Mongu in the Western Province and Kapiri Mposhi in Central Province, and the urban province of Lusaka in Zambia.
