Poryatunok – Salvation
2006

Salvation was established in 1999 by a group of community activists. It has worked extensively in the area of HIV/AIDS, with special emphasis on improving access to prevention services for injection drug users, including needle exchange, peer education, legal assistance, and the establishment of telephone trust points, which provide a mechanism for clients to receive confidential and cost-free consultations with Salvation social workers and health specialists. Salvation has carried out two TB/HIV advocacy grant projects with support from OSI in 2004 and 2005.

Salvation will implement community-led monitoring and advocacy activities in the municipality of Kremenchuk, Ukraine.
