HIV/AIDS & STD Alliance Bangladesh
2006

HASAB was founded in 1994 and registered as an independent organization in 1998. As a partner organization of the International HIV/AIDS Alliance UK, HASAB supports community responses to HIV/AIDS. Its mission is to help reduce vulnerability to HIV/AIDS and other sexually-transmitted diseases by building strategic partnerships to identify and address both causes and consequences of vulnerability. HASAB provides grant management and capacity building to 56 smaller non-governmental, community-based and faith-based organizations involved in promoting prevention and control of the HIV/AIDS epidemic as well as in providing care and support to HIV infected and affected persons.

HASAB will implement community-led monitoring and advocacy activities in two divisional districts of Bangladesh: Dhaka and Rajshahi.
