CEJES was established in 1999 and registered in 2002 by a group of young people living with HIV to help identify and develop ways of improving their living conditions. CEJES members advocate for policies to improve access to treatment and support activities to reduce the stigma and discrimination commonly experienced by people living with HIV/AIDS.

CEJES will implement community-led monitoring and advocacy activities in the health district of Nikinimeki, Cameroon.
