Law and Health Initiative Convenes First Global Strategy Meeting
Legal experts from Kenya, South Africa, Hungary, Ukraine, the United States, and Canada gathered in New York in September to provide input into the first global strategy for the recently formed Open Society Institute Law and Health Initiative. Major initiatives on integrating legal services into OSI-funded health programs, supporting human rights organizations working on HIV and AIDS, and developing human rights principles for patient care will follow from the recommendations of the Law and Health Initiative advisory team.
