New Law and Health Coordinator at Open Society Georgia Foundation Links Two Programs
June 1, 2006

Nino Kiknadze, the Law and Health Project director at the Open Society Georgia Foundation, stepped into her new position in June, 2006. A lawyer by training, Kiknadze also holds a Master in Public Administration from the Georgian Institute of Public Affairs. She will be working closely with OSGF’s in-house rule of law and public health programs, and with the Law and Health Initiative at OSI-New York, to integrate law and human rights into the public health activities of the foundation. Kiknadze visited the OSI-NY office in early July, met with Public Health Program and Open Society Justice Initiative staff, and began developing OSGF’s strategy for future work on law and health.
