Universal access to HIV prevention, treatment, care, and support will never be achieved without human rights. Now more than ever, human rights must occupy the center of the global struggle against HIV.

Thousands of activists and people affected by HIV and AIDS will join a global march in Mexico City during the International AIDS Conference. Please join OSI to express your support for populations at high risk for HIV, and for vastly greater attention to human rights in the response to HIV.

During the rally, a copy of the declaration HIV/AIDS and Human
Rights: Now More than Ever
, endorsed by over 300 organizations worldwide, will be presented to high-level officials.

Participants will gather between 7:00 and 7:30am and march to the conference center, where a human rights rally will be held. The rally will feature keynote addresses by Mark Heywood, head of the AIDS Law Project, South Africa, and Peter Piot, UNAIDS Executive Director, among others.
