Summary Guide to the XVI International AIDS Conference

August 2006

OSI

Produced by OSI's Law and Health Initiative, this guide provides a summary overview of legal and human rights–themed sessions at the XVI International AIDS Conference in Toronto, Canada, August 13–18, 2006.  It provides conference delegates with a roadmap of sessions related to a full range of human rights issues, such as women's rights, children's rights, and the rights of marginalized groups such as injecting drug users, prisoners, sex workers, lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgendered persons, and persons in need of palliative care.  This summary is accompanied by a detailed guide entitled "Now More Than Ever: A Delegates' Guide to Law and Human Rights at AIDS 2006."
