Prepared for a 2007 global OSI meeting on health and human rights, this workshop manual contains four modules designed to build the capacity of public health and legal staff throughout the Soros foundations network to collaborate on health and human rights funding and advocacy. The modules include exercises such as mapping issues at the intersection of health and human rights, analyzing regional and international health and human rights mechanisms, exploring controversial “hot topics” in health and human rights, and integrating health and human rights programming into foundation strategies.
