A primary goal of this conference is to explore evidence-based relationships between health and human rights, with a special emphasis on case studies and field examples. The event is organized by the Institute of Human Rights at Emory University, in collaboration with the World Health Organization (WHO), CARE USA, The Carter Center human rights office, the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, and Doctors for Global Health.
