John Kelly is the founder of Morningside Analytics. His research blends Social Network Analysis, content analysis, and statistics to solve the problem of making complex online networks visible and understandable. Kelly has an M.Phil from Columbia University (Ph.D. pending), and has studied communications at Stanford and at Oxford’s Internet Institute. He is an affiliate at the Berkman Center for Internet and Society at Harvard Law School. |

Porochista Khakpour is an Iranian-American writer whose first novel, Sons and Other Flammable Objects, was a New York Times Editor’s Choice, 2007 California Book Award Winner in First Fiction, and included in the Chicago Tribune's 2007 Fall's Best list. She is the founder and moderator of the popular "Literature of Iran and the Diaspora" group on GoodReads.com, a social networking site for book enthusiasts. Evgeny Morozov is an online media and digital activism expert and journalist from Belarus. Previously based in Berlin, Morozov writes on new media and technology for publications such as the Economist, International Herald Tribune, Open Democracy, Le Monde, Slate, and Foreign Policy. As an Open Society Fellow, Morozov is writing a book on how the Internet influences civic engagement and regime stability in countries such as China, Egypt, Russia and Venezuela. |

Ethan Zuckerman
Ethan Zuckerman is a fellow at the Berkman Center, where he focuses on the impact of technology on the developing world. His current projects include a study of global media attention, research on the use of weblogs and other social software in the developing world, and work on a clearinghouse for software for international development. He has founded or co-founded Global Voices Online, Geekcorps, and Tripod. He is a member of the OSI U.S. Programs board. |
