About

Fields of activities: 1. Education. In the filed of education, they carry out multicultural education projects developed at elementary, secondary and university levels. They also promote lifelong and professional learning for state administration, professionals, employers. They participate in developing curricula and deliver education for/about migration. 2. Migration. In the filed of migration, they carry out high-quality research and publishing activites about diverse aspects of migrations in the Central and Eastern European region. (www.migraceonline.cz.) 3. Information provision. They maintain a resource center and specialized library available on the web: www.mkc.cz. They carry our press monitoring and provide general information about social and cultural diversity in Central and Eastern Europe. 4. Research and Publishing. The center carries out cutting-edge research, networking of institutions and individuals concerned with the social and cultural diversity in Central and Eastern Europe, minority governance, studies of nations and nationalisms.

OSI Affiliation

Open Society Fund Prague is a long-term supporter of the Multicultural Center Prague. The Center is a civic association founded in 1999 under the auspices of the Open Society Fund Prague. Since 2003, Multicultural Center Prague has supported the efforts of the European Cultural Foundation.
