About
The mission of the Centre is to improve and contribute to the policy-making process in Estonia by carrying out public policy research and fostering public debate. In early 2002 PRAXIS launched a new program in education policy which focuses on three issues 1. problems in primary-level education acquisition, including sub-standard education results, not fulfilling the compulsory education requirement; 2. forecasting and planning educational training needs for Estonia; 3. assessing the effectiveness of investments in education.
OSI Affiliation
PRAXIS is a member of the Network of Education Policy Centers. This network is facilitated by the Education Support Program (ESP), Open Society Institute Budapest.
