About

Their goal is to offer equal access to quality education for children and adults. SbS Bulgaria offers educational technologies and strategies connected with interactive teaching methods and organisation of the school environment. They monitor, evaluate educational projects. They develop specific projects in the field of permanent education as well as training and re-training teachers. They also develop materials and training for teachers, parents and administrators. SbS Bulgaria maintains a network of kindergartens, schools, special schools and pedagogical faculties evenly distributed all over Bulgaria. It participates in international projects. (Promoting the Integration of the Roma; Roma Education Initiative, Evaluation program)

OSI Affiliation

From 1994 to 1998 the program was part of OSI. In 1998 Step by Step Program Foundation became an NGO working in the field of the education in Bulgaria. The Foundation has worked with the Roma Education Initiative (REI) program run by the Education Support Program, OSI Budapest. It is also a member of the International Step by Step Association (ISSA).
