Network of Education Policy Centers
The emerging network of Education Policy Centers aims to promote democratic and participatory education policy processes in their respective countries by providing high-quality research and, policy analysis and developing responsible alternatives to existing policies and practices.

OSI South East Europe Youth Initiative
The OSI South East Europe (SEE) Youth Initiative supports sustainable community-based activities that bring together youth of diverse backgrounds from across South East Europe. It offers grants to local young people and youth organizations through Soros foundations in the region. It also awards grants for partnership projects.
A database of organizations funded by the OSI SEE Youth Initiative has been integrated into the already existing database of the South East Europe YOUTH Resource Center. The database aims to promote cooperation between countries in South East Europe and other countries within the YOUTH program and includes information about youth organizations and other institutions that work with youth or organize youth activities.

Post-Graduate Distance Courses in International Education Policy Studies
ESP and Columbia University Teachers College offer joint post-graduate (non-degree) courses in two subject areas: international education policy studies and program evaluation. The courses are structured around producing subsector analysis reports in the policy courses, and actual evaluations of education programs linked to national Soros foundations in the evaluation courses. A number of stories of good practice and innovation in education have been generated and facilitated by OSI.
