Education Support Program Grantee Launches Website on Pakistani Education

Date:
February 10, 2009

The Campaign for Quality Education, a grantee of the Open Society Institute Education Support Program, has launched its website at www.cqe.net.pk. It features news, publications, and resources, and readers can provide feedback and comments in the "Views and Opinion" section.

The Campaign for Quality Education is a network of individuals and organizations concerned with education in Pakistan, built on the belief that educational justice entails not just access to school, but to quality education for all children. With its core guiding principles of equity, social partnership and networking, local participation, research and evidence-based advocacy, the campaign seeks to promote quality in education through effective advocacy, developing and popularizing innovative solutions to quality issues in education, and regular monitoring of the state of education in Pakistan. The Campaign for Quality Education's strategy combines three main strands: advocacy, evidence based monitoring and innovation.
