The evaluations included field visits, a national survey, case studies, interviews, and a study of existing Education for Democratic Citizenship programs implemented by NGOs in schools and communities. These findings were presented to the Ministry of Education and Sports, to the teachers, and to all involved in the development of civic education as a solid working tool for the improvement of the subject.
