Piroska Hugyecz

Information Officer

Piroska Hugyecz joined the Open Society Foundations in 1999 and has been with the Education Support Program since 2004. Hugyecz manages the program's web presence and acts as information officer.

She has experience in for-profit and nonprofit organizations, and worked with the European Roma Rights Center. She worked with the Open Society Local Government Initiative as project assistant and then coordinator of the multi-donor supported LOGIN (Local Government Information Network) project, which developed a web database of local government-related information accumulated mainly by a network of local government associations in the CEE and fSU regions. Hugyecz graduated in history and English language and literature at the University of Szeged, Hungary, and received an MA degree in European studies at the Corvinus University, Budapest, Hungary.
