Benjamin Bach
Program OfficerBenjamin Bach joined the Open Society Education Support Program in 2009 as a project officer leading the program’s "Integration and Diversity in Education in Europe" project. Bach is also working with partner organizations in Southern Africa. As part of his duties, he will be leading the Education Support Program’s engagement on youth in conflict-affected countries.
Prior to joining the Open Society Foundations, Bach worked with the German Development Service in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. In France he organized and implemented youth exchanges for students from France, Germany, Bulgaria and Poland. Bach was a scholarship holder of the German federal president in 2007 and holds an MA in political science, economics and French literature from Bonn University.
