Insititute for War and Peace Reporting
The Institute for War & Peace Reporting (IWPR) strengthens local journalism in areas of conflict. By training reporters, facilitating dialogue and providing reliable information, it supports peace, democracy and development in societies undergoing crisis and change. IWPR's work is distinguished by intensive on-the-job training, practical collaboration between international and regional journalists to transfer skills and experience for the long term.

Integrated Regional Information Networks
IRIN is the United Nations office for the coordination of humanitarian affairs. Its news service's reporting focuses on strengthening universal access to timely, strategic and non-partisan information so as to enhance the capacity of the humanitarian community to understand, respond to and avert emergencies. IRIN further supports efforts at conflict resolution and reconciliation by countering misinformation and propaganda.

Internews
Internews Network is an international non-profit organization that supports open media worldwide. The organization fosters independent media in emerging democracies, produces innovative television and radio programming and Internet content, and uses the media to reduce conflict within and between countries.

Reporters Without Borders
Reporters Without Borders works to safeguard reporters' rights and help maintain their safety and objectivity around the world. It also works in close co-operation with local and regional press freedom organizations and with members of the "Reporters without Borders' Network".
