Baghdad Director of Iraq Revenue Watch Isam al Khafaji, Baghdad director of Iraq Revenue Watch, also teaches state and nation formation, globalization, and development at the International School of Humanities and Social Sciences at the University of Amsterdam. He is the author of three books and has written numerous papers and articles on the politics, economics, and society of the Middle East. His most recent book, Tormented Births: Passages to Modernity in Europe and the Middle East, is due to be published in March 2004. |
