Barnett Rubin
Director of Studies and Senior Fellow at the Center on International Cooperation at New York University Prior to joining the Center on International Cooperation, Barnett Rubin served as senior fellow and the director of the Center for Preventative Action at the Council on Foreign Relations. He taught political science at Yale and Columbia universities and was a fellow of the United States Institute of Peace. He is the author of The Fragmentation of Afghanistan (second edition, 2002) and Blood on the Doorstep: The Politics of Preventing Deadly Conflict (2002). He has published numerous other books, articles, and reports on peace, conflict, state building, and human rights in countries and regions including Afghanistan, Nigeria, Central Asia, Central Africa, and the Balkans. |
