Inputs of Montenegrin NGOs to EC Monitoring Report

Since March 2002, the European Commission has reported regularly to the Council and the Parliament on progress made by the countries of the western Balkans region. In this context, the Open Society Institute and the Soros foundations network have provided input by producing this report for the period June 2007–June 2008.

The report was prepared by the Foundation Open Society Institute–Representative Office Montenegro together with the Center for Human and Minority Rights, Human Right Action, Center for Democracy and Human Rights, and the Union of Independent Electronic Media.

The Open Society Institute–Brussels facilitated the input of Soros foundations and partners in Montenegro in this process. The full European Commission report (period of October 2007–October 2008) can be downloaded on the commission website (pdf).
