Since 2004, OSI-Brussels has been advocating for an EU Roma Policy which is aligned with the Roma Decade 2005-2015. In its December 2007 summit conclusions, the European Council asked Member States and the Union to use all means to improve the inclusion of Roma. This is a major stepping stone towards an EU Roma Policy. OSI’s written and verbal input into this report of the high-level advisory group on ethnic minorities contributed to this decision.
