Submission for a Roundtable of the Civil Liberties Committee of the European Union
The European Parliament Committee on Civil Liberties, Justice and Home Affairs organized a June 30, 2008, roundtable, “Freedom and Security in the Integrated Management of the European Union's Borders: Exchange of Views on the New Schengen Information System, Frontex, Eurosur, Entry-Exit System, Profiling.”
The Open Society Justice Initiative contributed the attached document to the session “Protecting Freedom, Security, and Privacy in the Future EU Border Management.” The roundtable minutes and the final program are also available for download below.
