Alexandra Wellard
Assistant to the DirectorAlexandra Wellard is responsible for coordinating the day-to-day activities of the director.
Prior to joining the Open Society Foundations, Wellard worked for Airports Council International as assistant to the policy director, responsible for international event management and coordination of the policy team’s activities. She joined the Open Society Institute-Brussels in February 2010, bringing with her extensive administrative and event management experience.
A British national, Alex graduated from the Open University with a diploma in business management in 2004. Wellard speaks French.
