Event Date: August 8, 2005 - September 8, 2005

A group of Burmese will march from the Mahatma Gandhi Statue in front of the Indian Embassy in Washington, D.C., on the morning of August 8 to the United Nations Building in New York City. The purpose of the march is to demonstrate international support for the democracy movement in Burma.
