Kalima Young
2000
Young received a fellowship to create YUHIP, designed to make health information entertaining and accessible to urban teens through the use of the Internet. The program offers an adolescent friendly website, an electronic newsletter, and a demographics database to educate, breakdown stereotypes, and minimize the influence of negative peer pressure regarding health issues.
